An air ambulance flew from New Providence to Eleuthera Monday night to airlift a 62-year-old Eleuthera woman.
She is one of two Eleuthera residents being airlifted to New Providence tonight for emergency medical care on separate flights.
The second patient is a disabled 56-year-old man.
“PMH refused to allow the air ambulance to bring him to Nassau even though he was unresponsive since this morning,” said one resident.
“They just got the okay to fly him out tonight.”
