A devastating traffic accident early this morning claimed the lives of three brothers on Sir Milo Butler Highway. The incident occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, the driver of a metallic gray Honda Passport, accompanied by two male passengers, was heading northbound on Sir Milo Butler Highway.
The vehicle veered off course and hit a tree on the western side of the highway.
Emergency services arrived on the scene to find the driver and the front-seat passenger trapped in the wreckage, both unresponsive.
Fire Services personnel used the Jaws of Life to free them from the damaged vehicle. Despite efforts by EMS personnel, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
The rear-seat passenger, the third brother, was removed from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with severe injuries. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation as authorities seek to determine the exact cause of the crash.
