A teen is facing charges for his brother’s murder. Investigators say the 15-year-old stabbed 25-year-old Topaz Baillou to death during a fight on March 22 in Eleuthera.
According to police, the brothers were riding together in a vehicle in Upper Bogue when they got into an argument. After they arrived at their destination, the teen allegedly stabbed his brother with a sharp instrument.
Baillou staggered out of the vehicle but collapsed a short distance away. The alleged murder weapon was discovered on the scene.
The teen wasn’t required to enter a plea when he appeared before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr. on Tuesday.
He was denied bail and returns to court on June 27.
