A 26-year-old man will be formally charged with the murder of 16-year-old Davinique Grey, who tragically lost her life in a shooting incident at her Nassau Village home on January 6th, 2024.
The accused, whose identity is being withheld pending legal proceedings, will appear before the Magistrate’s Court today at 10:00 a.m.
Authorities from the Criminal Investigation Department have revealed that the suspect was targeting the mother's boyfriend, 31-year-old Gameliel Gray, who had sought refuge in the Nassau Village residence.
Gray, implicated in a recent murder case, voluntarily surrendered to the police.
The disturbing incident sent shockwaves through the community.
